About Me
My name is Jennifer Herold and I am the founder of Vaughan Herold, a professional coaching and leadership development practice. My emphasis is on implementing skills and practices that draw forth courageous leadership and transform teams and cultures. In today's world, effective leadership requires more than just business acumen, which can leave you feeling uncertain, frustrated, and overwhelmed. I get it! I've been there. The requirement to meet the changing demands is the ability to lean into discomfort, learn how to shift, and lead with courage. Through challenging currently held mental models to unlock options and build competencies for growth, I enable clients to access and institute sustainable change, live a braver life, and elevate organizations.
My Background
I started my professional career in marketing, working with various size organizations, including several Fortune 500 companies such as AutoTrader, BlueLinx, and Kodak. In those roles, I worked to drive strategic change while building relationships both inside and outside the company. From large-scale branding campaigns to facilitating industry-leading training and education initiatives, I worked closely with executive leadership to create awareness, engagement, and adoption. After almost 15 years in the corporate environment, I made the leap to follow my calling as an executive coach. As a result of my background, I bring a proficiency in leadership experience and organizational savvy to work with clients, coupled with a native ability to connect and proven tools and practices for leadership development.
I have my degree in Telecommunication, Film, and Communication from the University of Alabama, where I was also a member of the women’s basketball team. The experience of competing at the collegiate level has provided me with a strong foundation of leadership, teamwork, hard work, and commitment that has transferred throughout my professional career. While that competitive spirit drives me, I also take great care in creating a safe place to connect with those I work with.
I am based in the Atlanta area with my husband and best friend, Dale and we have two children. We share a love of learning, personal growth, and service to others and strive to go through life with an open heart and a curious mind.
